The name ACALA originates from the ancient Sanskrit word Acala (अचल), meaning “The Unshakable One.”

For ACALA, “Unshakable” is not about refusing change.
It is about remaining steadfast in values while continuing to learn, grow, and transform.

- Every human being is influenced by two fundamental driving forces: Greed (Desire) and Fear. These forces shape our thoughts, emotions, decisions, relationships, ambitions, and behaviours. Within the ACALA Philosophy, greed and fear are not viewed as enemies to be eliminated, nor as virtues to be blindly embraced. Instead, they are understood as natural aspects of human nature that, when properly recognised and guided, become powerful catalysts for growth. Greed inspires us to pursue opportunities, knowledge, achievement, and a better future, while fear protects us from danger, uncertainty, and unnecessary risk. Together, they influence how we perceive the world and respond to life’s challenges.
- The ACALA Theory of Greed and Fear proposes that true human development begins not by suppressing these forces, but by understanding them. When individuals become aware of how greed and fear influence their thinking and behaviour, they gain greater self-awareness, emotional maturity, and wisdom.
